John Brantingham and Peter Churchill, who have created a very lively creative writing community at Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC), invited me to come to California for a reading in November.

Oh yeah.

Now, this room looks kinda bare, I know, but I think it’s important to be honest here in the route book; sometimes I give readings and not very many people come.

It was the week of Thanksgiving Break, and a lot of the kids had already gone home for the holiday. That’s what they told me, anyway. 🙂

But the ones who were there–they were fantastic.
